S.T.A.B.L.E. education is critical to the mission to reduce infant mortality and morbidity and to improve the future health of children and their families. It is the most widely distributed and implemented neonatal education program to focus exclusively on the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care of sick infants.

This is the monthly Grand Rounds event for the Winn Army Community Hospital staff. This month’s presentation highlights domestic violence and child abuse and neglect (DV/CAN). DV/CAN continue to be pervasive problems in the U.S. military. A large body of literature shows that experience with DV/CAN is associated with suicidality. Unfortunately, studies on the connection of DV/CAN to suicide in the military population are virtually non-existent. The program highlights the connection of the two phenomena and discusses actions and programs to address them.
