Program Description3-hour training for designated DoD MHS primary care pain care champions to prepare the pain champions for their role as pain trainer and consultant for the PCMH team, pain SME, Stepped Care Model for Pain (SCM) implementor for the clinic, and academic advisor. The training will define SCM for pain work flows, roles/responsibilities of those primary care team members actively participating in the Stepped Care Model for Pain, and job aids/tools for use in patient education and documentation.
