This training provides extensive knowledge on the Mental Health Assessment policies and procedures, time line requirements, administration, scoring and interpretation of the measures that make up the Mental Health Assessment, intervention and referral guidelines, and a step-by-step breakdown of the Mental Health Assessment Person-to-Person provider interview process.

Program DescriptionThis series of eight, biweekly calls follows the 8-hour Brief CBT for Pain training designed for Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs) in the DoD. Each call lasts one hour and includes a didactic topic that focuses on a more specific aspect of pain treatment, as well as ample time for discussion and consultation regarding participants’ patient cases. Program DescriptionThis activity is a skills training for clinicians involved in amputation and limb trauma care. This would include both the surgical specialties as well as the rehab clinicians. Morning didactic presentations will be reinforced by afternoon skills training in the anatomic teaching lab.
