Program Description: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Adults: A Comprehensive Review for BHCs. The goal of this training is to inform BHCs about how to assist adults in primary care who have concerns about ADHD and/or problems caused by unrecognized ADHD. BHCs will learn about strategies to improve the identification and diagnostic accuracy of ADHD, help patients manage/cope with ADHD symptoms and comorbidities, and contribute to the primary care team’s safe prescribing efforts.

This hybrid course will require health care professionals to engage with 3-7 modules a week related to research theory and practice in preparation for a small group practical exercise to identify a research problem, create a research team and apply methodology. Many junior Army Medical Specialist Corps (AMSC) are interested in conducting clinical research that moves their profession forward in a meaningful way.
