Program Description
The Stepped Care Model (SCM) for pain supports evidence-based, comprehensive management of acute and chronic pain for all enrolled patients. This workshop aims to train primary care pain champions to implement the SCM for pain in their patient-centered medical homes (PCMH).
Target Audience
This continuing education (CE) activity is provided by the DHA J-7 Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO). This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, kinesiotherapists, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

- 15.00 Occupational Therapists (ACCME Non-Physician CME Credit)DHA J-7 CEPO is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education. For the purpose of recertification, the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME. Occupational Therapists may receive a maximum of 15.00 hours for completing this Enduring Material (Home Study) activity.
