It will discuss vocational rehabilitation with the objective to gain knowledge related to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).​ Attendees will learn about the unique VR services and programs available to dependents (spouse and children) within state and federal VR programs and acquire information on referring dependents to VR services.

Program Description: This educational session, Research & Development (R&D) for Emerging Health Hazards in the Arctic, intends to present introductory-level information to medical staff and nurses who practice in the military context in Arctic and Sub-Arctic environments. Topics addressed include environmental health and its application to military medicine, impacts of melting permafrost on the Arctic and Subarctic, and identification and mitigation of emerging health hazards in the Arctic.
