DHA Behavioral Health Self-Assessments & Inspections

The DHA Enterprise Assessment System, findings from the first year of DHA Behavioral Health inspections, discussing lessons learned and how Behavioral Health leaders can successfully implement DHA guidance in support of patient care and medical readiness. The way forward for FY26 will also be discussed.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, and psychologists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify and discuss guidance that drives and supports the DHA healthcare delivery self-assessment and inspection processes.
  2. Describe the DHA healthcare delivery self-assessment and inspection processes.
  3. Apply FY25 inspection findings and observations to their MTFs to ensure successful implementation of Behavioral Health operations in support of patient care and readiness.
  4. Evaluate their MTFs’ compliance with DHA BH guidance using the FY26 BH compliance checklists.
