TBICoE: Management of Headache Following Concussion/mTBI Clinical Recommendation: Guidance for NonPrimary Care Managers 2024

Program Description: 

Traumatic brain injury can cause a variety of physical, psychological, and cognitive symptoms. Of reported post-concussive symptoms, headache is the most common and persistent. This activity, hosted by the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence, will improve knowledge and awareness of post traumatic headaches, recommended treatment strategies, and available resources. Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and athletic trainers. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  2. Differentiate common PTH subtypes.
  3. Summarize evaluation and management of PTH.
